Do I need to follow the creator?
No. Sftir saves from the public Reel URL regardless of whether you follow the account.
Does it work with private accounts?
If you can view the Reel (the account approved your follow), you can save it — but Sftir processes the publicly accessible video data. If Instagram restricts the content, processing may fail for that video.
Are the hashtags searchable too?
Yes — Sftir pulls the caption, hashtags, and creator metadata alongside the transcript. All of it is part of the search index.
